CARPENTRY CRAFT 2026
Egeværk is pleased to invite everyone interested to Carpentry Craft, the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild exhibition at 3daysofdesign.
We will be presenting the world premiere of the first two Glacier Walls. One will be exhibited at Carpentry Craft, while the other is on its way to New York. Mette will be present throughout the entire event, and together we will take part in a talk on design, craftsmanship, and art.
Talk: When Cabinetmakers Create Art
What happens when cabinetmaking becomes art? And why can creating art be more interesting than producing traditional cabinetmaking work?
These questions will be explored in a talk featuring cabinetmakers Mette Bentzen and Lasse Kristensen from Egeværk, alongside furniture makers Laura Bergsøe, Rasmus Fenhann, and Malte Gormsen.
The talk will be moderated by Lars Hedebo, Design Editor at Politiken.
